Hydro12 will take place onboard SS RotterdamHydrographic Society Benelux is organising and hosting Hydro12 on behalf of the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies. With the theme 'Taking Care of the Sea', Hydro12 is being held onboard the SS Rotterdam, moored in Rotterdam Harbour, from 13-15th November. Hydro12 will offer delegates a fantastic opportunity to hear a wide range of presentations on topics including the latest developments in hydrographic survey, processing and post-processing techniques and also to view poster sessions - all at an affordable rate.

The Opening Address will be given by Robert Ward, President at the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) in Monaco. In addition, the conference will have four Keynote Speakers: Peter Harris (Geoscience Australia, Australia), Mark Heine (Fugro Survey, The Netherlands), Steve Shipman (IHO) and Terje Torsnes (Geological Survey of Norway).

As ever with Hydro conferences, Hydro12 will offer a range of social events (including a partner programme) which will provide ideal opportunities to meet colleagues from all over the world, network and exchange experiences.

SS Rotterdam came into service in 1959 and is considered one the most successful liners ever to have sailed the seven seas. She has been totally refurbished, whilst maintaining and restoring her original character, and is a fine example of both the Atlantic liners and style of the 1950s-1960s. Hydrographic Society Benelux is confident delegates will thoroughly enjoy this very special venue.
