Call for abstracts for Hydro 2016

Abstracts of papers for presentation at Hydro 2016, the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies' (IFHS) 24th 3-day symposium and exhibition, are now invited.
This year's Hydro conference, which takes place in Rostock-Warnemunde from 8-10th November, is being organised and hosted by the German Hydrographic Society (DHyG).
Staged in the spacious Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Dune Hotel overlooking the Baltic Sea and expected to attract a worldwide audience drawn from all sectors of the hydrographic and related professions, main conference proceedings will be supported by an extensive exhibition of equipment and services in addition to specialist workshops and on-water demonstrations.
Principal topics featured will include wide-ranging issues affecting Latest Technological Advances & Emerging Markets, Capacity Building, Data Processing & Managment, Nautical Charting, Coastal Mapping & Seafloor Classification, Marine Renewables, Education & Training. There will also be a dedicated session for student and graduate presentations for which a prize of £500 and a framed certificate will be awarded for the best adjudged submission.
Abstracts of up to 300 words plus an optional illustration on any of the designated topics are required no later than 31st March and should be forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org.
